Dr. Ganesh Prasad Pandey
Agriculture Scientist and Philanthropist

Dr. Ganesh Prasad Pandey had 39 years of dedicated service to the Government of India and the Food Corporation of India, he retired as Executive Director (Joint Secretary level) after a career devoted to strengthening India’s food security system. His leadership spanned procurement, quality management, storage, and institutional capacity-building, shaping policy and practice at the national level.

A Ph.D. in Entomology and Fellow of the Entomological Society of India, he has authored 40+ research papers, contributing meaningfully to agricultural science and knowledge dissemination. Today, guided by the belief that true success lies in giving back, he is focused on uplifting rural communities through education, currently establishing a school for village children in Maharajganj District, Uttar Pradesh, to nurture opportunity where it is needed most.
